WHO WE ARE

We're an English/Japanese couple and we decided to offer something a little "different" for people coming to ski/snowboard and just have fun at Appi-Kogen.
After buying and extensively renovating the place in September 2015 we opened our doors for business in December. We offer a sense of English charm with impeccable Japanese service to all of our guests and can say we are having lots of fun hosting people with us.
Whether it's a hard charging day on the slopes or a relaxing day by the open fireplace reading a book we've got it all.
Come for a day or a few weeks and enjoy everything Appi has to offer.
THE SLOPES
Appi-kogen is the largest ski resort in Northern Honshu and offers a variety of runs that will keep beginners to advanced skiers and boarders happy.
We've got fast and steep powder runs for the daredevils out there to the amazingly relaxed Yamabato run which is 5.5km long. The mountain is set up with three distinct sections that will keep like minded and talented people amongst their own.
There's also a Terrain Park that offers a little more excitement than the traditional runs.
CAT skiing is available this season too as well as various back country tours. There are numerous other resorts around but Appi offers the most bang for the buck .
